Easter’s food drives have been a great success due to the generosity of all of you.  In 2007, 6,391 pounds were donated; in 2008, 14,735 were donated; and in 2009, 19,583 were donated.  In the last 2 years, we have exceeded our goal of 1,000 pounds per month. To continue to support the food drives takes volunteers.  Please consider helping with a monthly food drive.  The time commitment is 3 hours on the second Sunday of each month.  It can be a great service project to do as a family, with your mentor group, life group or with your friends. Please consider volunteering so that we can maintain this ministry that supports so many families in our community. February is open! Also, when you attend church on the first Sunday of the month, the grocery bags need to be handed out after each service.  Let me know which service you can help with.
