| Connect : August Art Exhibit - Fireside Commons |
Dana Billing, Alli Hofstad, Adam Iverson, and Kenzie Lyseng are talented artists and members of Easter Lutheran. They were part of AP Art Portfolio – an advanced placement class that offers talented students an environment where they can experiment with a variety of styles and media.
Each student developed a portfolio that includes one area of concentration. The portfolio is scored by a national board and may earn them college credit. They would like to dedicate this show to their fellow “Port” classmates and their teacher Stephanie Molstre-Kotz (“MK”), also a member at Easter.

| Connect : Intellectual Wellbeing |
by Stacy Wollmuth, Parish Nurse
As we begin our spin around the wholeness wheel we will take a look at intellectual wellbeing. As Minnesotans we are known to take a little break in the summer. Take time this summer to think about how you are taking care of your mind. Spend some time reflecting on how your brain interacts with the other parts of the wholeness wheel. I invite you to "get your head in the game" as you look at how your individual wheel is spinning! |

| Connect : Letter from Iringa, Tanzania - May 3, 2010 |
Dear Friends and Family, Thank you for your prayers and kindness. I greatly appreciate your many warm and supportive emails. If you are replying to this email, perhaps you could delete the letter and pictures since we pay by the byte, and my long letters returned exact a significant bite. I hope and pray you are well and having at least half the gratifying, life-filling encounters I'm having here in Tanzania. Today marks my third week here, and each day has been filled with good (and not-so-good but memorable) experiences. |

| Connect : Gathering of Dreams Report |
Last September we invited members to offer their dreams for Easter Lutheran Church. The purpose of this Dream Gathering was to get a fresh, deep and wide look at the future of Easter Church over the next five years. Every dream was read and discussed. A dream-sorting event with leadership on Oct. 3, 2009, developed themes and priorities for initiatives. After the sorting, the results were given to the Long Range Planning Committee to review and determine common themes that fit Easter’s mission, “To grow in faith and carry on the work of Jesus Christ” and Easter’s vision, “Transforming hearts and lives for Christ.” These common themes, sorted into ministry areas, were given to the appropriate committee and staff for further evaluation and action. Easter’s Church Council accepted the Long Range Planning Committee Report (included in the Annual Report) on April 20, 2010.
