Serving Locally

Easter offers many different opportunities to serve locally.


Social Justice and Service Ministries
The purpose of the Social Justice and Service Committee is to care for our neighbors near and far, and strive for justice in Christ’s name. To carry out that mission, we focus on three main areas:

Hunger Easter Members understand and have opportunities to respond to hunger needs – and the underlying causes – of people globally and locally. Learn more about Easter's Hunger Ministries.
Housing Easter members understand and have opportunities to respond to the housing needs of people globally and locally. Learn more about Easter's Housing Ministries.
People in Need Easter members are educated about the needs of people in crisis and are active in serving those needs. Easter supports farmers in getting a fair price for their labors. Easter is prepared to work together with other organizations to respond to a local disaster in a swift and effective manner. Learn more about our People In Need Ministry.
