Welcome to Children’s Ministry of Easter! Children are encouraged to learn the love of Jesus, and share His love with others. We invite you to join in the fun of being blessed by God’s love through a variety of children’s educational activities!
Church School Children age 3 – Gr. 6 join us for an Akaloo Adventure this year! Church school sessions are offered on Sundays and Wednesdays from Sept. – May. 2010-2011 Church School Information and Schedule
Vacation Bible School (VBS) Children age 3 – Gr. 5 can join in the fun at one of the remaining sessions for July. Learn more about VBS Tween Time - Grades 5 and 6 Gather with your friends with Jesus at the center on
Sundays and Wednesdays during the school year. Plus meet your friends,
or bring your friend(s) to a variety of fun activities during the
school year and summer. Tween Time (grades 5-6)
Family Faith Nights (formerly Together Foundations of Faith) Celebrate a faith milestone in your child’s life, for example your child receiving their Bible or learning The Lord’s Prayer. Family Faith Night Celebrations are offered one Saturday a month where families gather together to worship, eat a meal, and learn fundamentals of the Lutheran faith. 2010-2011 Schedule
First Communion Easter church provides instruction for 5th grade students, and for younger children whose parents feel they are ready. Parent attendance is required at most sessions. 5th grade students are given three options for instruction. Early first communion is offered the end of January and early February. 5th grade First Communion Information and Early First Communion Information.
Spirited Feet - Ages 3 - Grade 6 Children age 3 – Gr. 6 can share their spirit of the Lord through dance. Classes are offered during the school year, and a one week camp is offered during the summer. Spirited Feet Information and Schedule Spirited Feet Registration Form
Musical Offerings We offer singing and ringing choir options for kids. See the Music Ministries page for options and registration information.

Church School Meet and Greet Sunday and Wednesday Church School students, meet your teacher(s) on Sunday, Sept. 12 between services. Hill: 9:30-10 a.m. Lake: 10:30–11 a.m. Classes will begin Sept. 15 and 19. Thanks to all who registered early for church school. If you still need to register, please complete a form and turn it in to the main office soon.

Expectations of Children’s Ministry The mission of Easter church is to grow in faith and carry on the work of Jesus Christ. The following expectations are to help us achieve Easter’s mission.- Children and their parents or guardians worship together.
- Children know the love and grace of Jesus Christ, and can tell the story of Jesus to others.
- Children can connect and make friends with other kids through their faith.
- Each child has a faith transforming experience at Easter.
- Students begin to identify their God-given talents, and learn to love and serve others.
- Empower families to practice faith in the home through devotion, service, prayer, and conversation.
