God’s mission for us here at Easter is to grow in faith and carry on the work of Jesus Christ. Our vision statements clarify that work by helping us focus on how we live in community, care with compassion, worship with joy, learn with devotion, and love with generosity. With our move to one site just a few months away, we are more excited than ever to work side-by-side so everyone hears the gospel and knows they are a beloved child of God.

We get to be the generation that fulfills the vision set so many years ago. We get to be the ones who honor the foundation built for us over fifty years of incredible ministry. We get to be the ones who sustain Easter as vibrant, relevant, and Christ-centered for years to come. God’s love endures forever, and this year, we have the unique opportunity to make sure Easter’s ministry does too.

This year’s Annual Appeal is called Vision, honoring our vision statements and the shared vision God has for us. The Annual Appeal and the opportunity to give through a special one-time appeal will continue to support the mission of this church with joy and hope. We invite your prayers, time, energy, and dollars as we engage in God’s work among us. Your financial giving communicates your faith and makes God’s purpose for us known – right here on Pilot Knob Road and for years to come.

God, through your Holy Spirit, we know we can accomplish your vision for the world. Grant us courage as we serve, compassion as we care, and generosity as we give, so that all people can know the good news of your Son.

Our giving to the ongoing ministry of Easter Lutheran Church (annual budget) reflects our faith in God’s vision and dedication to living our mission here and now. Increasing our giving with an additional $250,000 in 2026, will:

  • Build our program ministries. With new space and renewed interest in Easter’s work, we’ll need the flexibility to stay agile and responsive in an unprecedented season of growth and change.

  • Respond to our mortgage. While interest payments began this year, full mortgage payments will begin in July 2026 and will be larger than our current payment. We will ensure our capacity to make our payments without compromising our work.

  • Live into our new space. We know that a new building can present new opportunities and unexpected complications. Your financial commitments now ensure that we can respond quickly whenever needed.

  • Sustain ministry excellence. We want to continue to support our staff, programs, and facilities no matter what. Our giving makes sure that the Easter we love stays healthy and strong.

GOALS

Giving To Our Annual Appeal

Faithful to God’s vision for us here at Easter, we will embody our vision to love with generosity in this year’s Annual Appeal.

$250,000 in new gifts allows Easter the flexibility and freedom to stay responsive and gospel-centered.

Our giving does so much good here at Easter, in our community, and in our world. You support the full life of ministry in this church. Pray for our mission and discernment. Give thanks for God’s abundant gifts in your life. Pray about how you will share your time, energy, and money to support Easter’s ministry through the exciting year ahead.

When you share your plan with Easter, you help Easter prepare for the exciting year of ministry ahead. More importantly, you know the joy of sharing all God’s abundant blessings with your church and the world.

On Sunday, November 9, you are invited to return your Statement of Intent. You may:

  • Bring it to church during worship

  • Submit it online; click button

  • Mail it to or drop it off at the church office: 4200 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan MN 55122

Thank you for all the ways you make a difference!

Special Appeal Fall 2025

When you make an additional gift of any amount to this special appeal, you help us finish our construction project on solid ground. You help us honor the history of Easter and prepare for a joyful future.

Your excitement and enthusiasm will make a difference in our ministry for years to come!

Everyone is excited about the new building and the realization of the One Easter vision!

In celebration of this incredible time, you are invited to join in a special appeal to make sure we meet all the needs of our building at 4545 Pilot Knob Road.

Let’s make certain we move into a building completely ready to meet this moment in the history of Easter.

It will never be more cost-effective and efficient to do this work than it is right now.

Your additional financial gift is a great way to celebrate our upcoming move into a beautiful new space.

Projects include:

  • Replacing carpet throughout the existing building. Estimated cost: $100,000

  • Replace remaining older roof section. Making the roofing secure for at least another ten years. Estimated cost: $185,000

  • A new garage. Exterior storage for maintenance and repair work is essential. Estimated cost: $50,000

  • New A/V equipment. By replacing television screens and infrastructure in the Community and Lakeside Rooms, we can make sure every area of our new building is ready for seamless teaching and presentations. Estimated cost: $10,000

  • Gift to the Indian Land Tenure Foundation (ILTF). To celebrate the sale of our Hill site and honor our Land Acknowledgement, the Vision Board approved a gift to the ILTF, a well-vetted organization which supports land projects for Native communities. Approved gift: $33,000

  • Relocating electronic sign. Our sign at 4200 Pilot Knob can come with us when we move, but it needs infrastructure (a monument base with electricity) to be built. Estimated cost: $10,000

  • Maintenance to bridge entrance on north side. The walkway on the north end of the existing Lake building needs repair to stay safe and functional. Estimated cost: $75,000

Additionally, you might choose to sponsor a sanctuary chair. Our new sanctuary chairs were intentionally chosen to accommodate everyone at Easter.

  • Single chair  Sturdy and comfortable, similar to our current Hill sanctuary seating. Cost: $225 each.

  • Single chair with arms  Chairs with arms allow easier sitting and standing for worshipers with limited mobility. Cost: $288 each.

  • Double size chair  A wider-width chair suitable either for someone preferring a larger seat or two people sitting together, like a parent and child. Cost: $376 each.

  • Triple size chair  A longer seat that can accommodate a small family, a few kids, or two people preferring more width in a seat. Cost: $442 each.

These dynamic seating options make sure our sanctuary meets the needs of anyone joining us in worship. When you make a financial gift to sponsor our sanctuary chairs, you help build a sanctuary that is hospitable and welcoming for all.

GENEROSITY BRINGS JOY STORYBOOK!

Stories by Easter people

Generosity takes many forms from sharing our time and talents to giving money to causes we believe in. For some, this value is ingrained early by their parents. Others learned from friends or teachers. This generosity of spirit is what drew many Easter members to this church and what makes it special. May these stories inspire us to grow in faith and carry on the work of Jesus Christ.
